If you have any interest for something off the beaten path i would recommend getting an m48 its fun reliable and has nostalgic qualities. Believe it or not its a good solid straight shooter a Modest 1 & 1/8 th" 3 shot grouping at 200 yds with the field "V" iron sights are right on the money, hot bore firing the rounds waver here and there, as expected, i wouldnt reccomend surplus ammo much as they are not very reliable and really punish the barrel (dirty = inaccurate) and you'll find yourself cleaning it forever. Sporterized Mauser dual trigger 7.92 or 8mm w/scope. Metal finish is original blue showing some normal wear.

Aside from swords I love all my weapons, handguns etc, but i find having fun from time to time with nostalgic weapons at the range for target. I believe the year in the crest 1943 signifies the establishment of the peoples republic in Yugoslavia, not the manufacturing dates.
